My fever finally broke, but oh my head.

I was so bad overnight that Bryan actually stayed home cause I worried about my ability to take care of the baby.

It's a revolution!

Any time some talks about starting a revolution this scene jumps into my head.

(starting at 5:15)

I fondly recall Susan and I at Java Joint throwing down our spoons and waving little bits of torn City Pages as we staged our own revolution.

it was short lived...
Had the following dream last night...

I was the owner of a brothel. But, gave up the business, after a girl was killed (apparently I had strong feelings towards her). The business was left to a madam who handled the everyday business.

I went after the people who had killed the girl. By doing so, a hit was placed on me. Lousy henchmen were sent, and they were easily taken care off. My awesome skills resulted in my recruitment into the profession of assassin.

Couple of jobs later, the madam of the brothel needs my help, etc. The madam has had feelings for me, since the beginning...

A bit hazy now, but the organization came after me, but the misunderstanding was cleared up. I took on a partner who I had previously met on a job.

Erm...

So the addition to the house, where the bedroom and front room are, has a flat roof. When it rains you can completely hear it, it reminds me a lot of when I lived in the trailer growing up. Usually it's soothing.. depending on the intensity. Multiple times last night I would hear a woosh, the all of a sudden our part of the house became a kettle drum. A really loud kettle drum. Lots of soothing a startled baby, and one time having to sooth a freaked out husband the first time it woke him.

I wouldn't say my night was restful.

Sunday tea slash brunch slash potluck

  • Nov. 5th, 2009 at 11:25 AM
So I am thinking on instituting a monthly (look up at the subject line) thing. I am thinking either first or second Sunday of every month. I would have kettles and hot water a-boiling, coffee brewed, would make one dish or sandwich myself.. And visitors would supply a single item too.. That way no one goes crazy and everyone gets to eat and have fun.

Now we just need to get the damn bathroom done and I can schedule the first one :)

Throwing an idea out to the masses

I've been craving tea and tiny sandwiches. When the bathroom is done (HAR HAR HAR) would people be interested in a tea/potluck? Where everyone brings either a sandwich, sweet or savory treat, teapot or tea and we just go to town with some mad noshing?

More 'I want to see people' than anything else.. I just want to test the waters.

Happy Anniversary Sesame Street!

Though I wish that you were more the show of my childhood and less a vehicle for all Elmo all the time.. Sesame Street really did provide me some of the happier memories of my childhood.
